My top 5 uses of OneNote

1. Screen Clipping

OneNote Screen Clipping

Anytime I need a screen clipping I use the Windows key + S shortcut key to capture a portion of the screen. This is fast and easy way to clip and store or copy and paste to another program.

2. Scanned Image

My all time favorite use was scanning a printed letter my Dad wrote. After scanning to OneNote, I copied it to Word saved as a PDF after polishing it up using Word’s photo editing tools.

3. Tags

OneNote Tags

Tags make it easy to categorize your notes and then find related tags later.

4. Share Notebook

Using my SkyDrive account, I can access my OneNote notebook anytime I’m online. I also can access my notes with my Windows Phone as well.

5. Type and doodle anywhere.

OneNote has a canvas for typing and drawing anywhere you want.
